Year Rep Elections

It’s time for our annual fall elections! The Human Biology Students’ Union will be electing year representatives for the 2019-2020 academic year. 1st year life science students or anyone who has taken an HMB course are eligible to vote.

Positions available:
1st Year Rep: 3
2nd Year Rep: 2
Upper Year Rep: 2

2nd Year and Upper Year Reps must be enrolled in an HMB program. Any 1st year Life Sci student can run for a 1st Year Rep position.

Responsibilities of year-representatives involve helping out with events, attending meetings and promoting events. Please come out and run for the available positions! It’s a great way to get involved and our team would love to have you!

Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing (or intending to pursue) studies within the Human Biology Department at UTSG.

In order to apply, please fill out the following NOMINATION FORM, and send it to hbsu.utoronto@gmail.com by 9pm on Thursday, September 26.

Elections will take place on Friday, September 27th from 4-6pm, in the Sidney Smith 2125. You are required to give a brief speech about yourself, your interest in the union, and reasons as to why your skills/experience would be transferable to the HBSU (max. 2 minutes).
Feel free to bring friends/support! 1st year life science students or anyone who has taken an HMB course are eligible to vote.

We’ll also be having a social event at Pogue Mahone (777 Bay St) directly afterwards, so please join us!
