ON MARCH 7, 2018 in SS2114: the Human Biology Students’ Union is hosting our Winter Academic Seminar featuring Dr. Nadia Sachewsky and her stroke research centred around neurorepair mechanisms and stem cell biology. Dr. Alistair Dias will be presenting about student preparation in laboratory courses.
Dr. Sachewsky is an instructor in the Human Biology Program and a postdoctoral fellow in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Anatomy in the lab of Dr. Cindi Morshead.
Dr. Dias has been the instructor for the lab courses in our various specialization areas, including Neuroscience, Human Biology, Health & Disease and Genes, Genetics and Biotechnology since 2009.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about their research fields, get a different outlook on why you learn what you do in the lab, and ask questions about how you can get involved!
The seminar will be hosted in SS2114 on MAR 7th FROM 3-4PM! Free coffee/hot chocolate and donuts will be provided. See you there!
