The Canada Gairdner Awards recognize the world’s most creative and accomplished biomedical scientists who are advancing humanity and the world. Dr. Antoine Hakim (Emeritus Professor, Neurology, University of Ottawa), the winner of the 2017 Gairdner Wightman Award, will be speaking about his outstanding research into the consequences of stroke and championing prevention and treatment worldwide.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday the 25th of October, from 2:15 to 3:15PM at D.G. Ivey Library in New College (20 Willcocks St).
