hosted by the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute (LKSKI) at the St. Michael’s Hospital.
Maybe you’re interested in medical school. Or maybe you’re interested in biological research. Or maybe both. Whatever your interests may be, this might be an event you want to add into your calendar!
This series of lectures is lead by a group of speakers from the the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute who will each speak about his or her research. Once a month on a Thursday, you will be invited to attend a lecture given by one of these speakers.
The first lecture is on Thursday, September 13th from 12 – 1 pm at LKSI 211
Address: 209 Victoria St.
Speaker: Dr. Richard Gilbert
Topic: Scar Wars – The Dark Side of Tissue Repair
A pizza lunch will be provided, and following lunch will be a short tour of the world-class Allan Waters Family Simulation Center, which is focused on training technical skills to surgeons, anaesthetists, and critical care physicians.
If this is something that you want to look more into, please do not hesitate to contact Ashley Rosen at rosenas@smh.ca to RSVP!
