Curious about those Caribbean schools? Here’s an opportunity to find out just how legit one of them is (more legit than many US schools, actually).

SGU trains student to think globally. MD, DVM and Dual Degree Opportunities from a World Class Medical Education Institution. Students and graduates from SGU represent more than 140 countries creating an unparalleled international educational environment.
 
More than 700 Canadians attend SGU, and more than 600 have graduated and are practicing in Canada and the US.
 
In 2010, SGU first time USMLE takers – students who were from 49 countries – equaled the 92% first time pass rate of students in the US and Canadian medical schools on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1. In the same year, SGU’s US and Canadian first time takers had a 94% pass rate.
 
Students can become medical leaders in their communities with dual degree opportunities, combining the Doctor of Medicine degree with a Master of Public Health or Master of Business Administration degree.
 
Complete your final two years in medicine in the US, UK and Canada. Complete your final year of the DVM degree in Canada, US, UK, Ireland and Australia.
 
SGU’s veterinary program earned full accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association/Canadian Veterinary Association Council on Education (AVMA/CVA COE) in September 2011.
